Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter, today relocated its existing Hyundai Motor Plaza to a more up market and easily accessible Lower Parel area in the Raghuvanshi Mills Compound in Mumbai.

The new facility is spread across a built up area of 10,157 sq feet area and boasts of a capacity to showcase the entire range of Hyundai cars.

Commenting on the occasion, H S Lheem, Managing Director, HMIL, said, “Maharasthra is an important market for Hyundai. With the opening of our new company owned showroom which boasts of a significantly better ambience at a more accessible location is confirmation of our belief that we take the Mumbai market very seriously and over the years we have been constantly striving to improve our facilities. This new showroom will further highlight our commitment towards our customers and help serve them better.”

Hyundai Motor India has three company owned showroom located in Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai called the Hyundai Motor Plaza which are run and managed by the employees of the company. The Mumbai HMP was earlier located on Peddar Road. This new showroom will provide the customers with much improved service in terms of space and ambience.

Hyundai Motor India has a large sales network in the country, which will grow to around 255 dealers by the end of 2008.
