Hyundai Motor India, the country’s largest car exporter and second largest car manufacturer, is all geared up to make a mark at Auto Expo 2008. The unveiling of Hyundai’s Santro LPG at the Expo today is expected to create a stir, coming as it does after the Santro CNG version and Hyundai’s ambitious plans for the future. Hyundai also plans to add to the LPG range in the future by offering LPG variants for other models. Also on display at the Hyundai stall are two of its bold new concept cars, the Veloster and the QarmaQ.
Powered by 1086 cc engine, the Santro LPG promises reliable performance with unmatched fuel efficiency. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. With over a million happy customers on the road, the Santro has won accolades for its style, performance and mileage and its latest LPG version will certainly add to its appeal across a broad spectrum of car buyers in India.
